An enormous, breathtaking lantern festival is coming to the Cloverdale Millennium Amphitheatre Park next week.

Organized by the Canada Chuansheng Media, the Surrey International Lantern Festival is the largest of its kind in the city. What's more, it starts on Friday, October 12th and then continues into the new year on Sunday, January, 6th.

Further, the website remarks that, "Something big is coming but we can not tell you about it just yet. Right now it is still a secret. We will gradually update you with more info and you can also subscribe to our website to be the first to find out about our special announcement."

As such, this large-scale event will include a variety of celebrations over the course of its lengthy appearance. While there are no photos from this current installation yet, the website provides some photos of the organizer's work and they are beautiful.
