Ever give the IKEA ball pit an envious glance and think: "Gee, this would be so fun to jump into as an adults-only party with booze?"
It's not so far-fetched. In fact, it's not even the first time we've discussed boozy ball pit parties here on V.I.A. That's because the Aussie company who brought us Hot Tub Cinema, and who are actually making the Harry Potter-themed Wizards Brunch happen, are behind the Ball Pit Party that was announced this January, and dates and ticket sale details have finally been revealed.

Described as "an adult wonderland combining the playground in the basement and our awesome bar serving your favourite cocktails alongside top DJs spinning tunes all day," these Ball Pit Parties are "the first of its kind" and totally a thing Down Under.

Promised for this summer, Ball Pit Party will actually set up at the event space at Westside Grand in Vancouver on March 1 and 2 of next year. This is the same venue that held Hot Tub Cinema, too.
Tickets are sold in two-hour slots, and give you access to play in the ball pit and dance to the tunes. A cash bar will be available with cocktails.
Priced $25-30 (the later the day, the higher the price) and promoters say they expect the tickets will sell out.
