There's a big Japanese Food Fair happening in Vancouver this weekend

Warming bowls of udon noodles, sticky rice balls, and tons of sushi sound like just the thing to ward off the rainy weather blues that are poised to be in full effect this weekend, which means its perfect timing for the annual Japan Food Fair.

Warming bowls of udon noodles, sticky rice balls, and tons of sushi sound like just the thing to ward off the rainy weather blues that are poised to be in full effect this weekend, which means its perfect timing for the annual Japan Food Fair.

Hosted by the Vancouver Buddhist Temple, this "fall bazaar"-style event features heaps of traditional Japanese fare like maki (roll) sushi, saba (mackerel) nigiri sushi, chicken teriyaki, ohangi (sweet sticky rice balls), maju (Japanese steamed cake), udon noodles, and much more, all at affordable prices.
