The Main Street chapter of a popular Japanese restaurant is coming to a close, as Zipang Provisions has announced they are saying goodbye in early November.

Zipang began on 21st Avenue over a decade ago before moving fairly recently to their current spot at 3068 Main Street in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant.
Owners revealed on social media that their last day of service will be November 8.
"We will be running under new management beginning mid November," adds Zipang Provisions, which means the business may well continue on much the same, with just key changes behind the scenes, though how that plays out remains to be seen.

Zipang is known for their classic Japanese fare, with an emphasis on fresh sushi selections, served up in their cozy industrial-chic Main Street space.
