Discover over 500 artists at Vancouver's FREE Eastside Culture Crawl

For over 20 years, the Eastside Culture Crawl has grown to attract audiences of over 30,000. Now, the annual visual arts, design, and crafts festival returns to Vancouver to showcase the heart of the East Vancouver creative community.

For over 20 years, the Eastside Culture Crawl has grown to attract audiences of over 30,000.

Now, the annual visual arts, design, and crafts festival returns to Vancouver to showcase the heart of the East Vancouver creative community. You'll discover painters, jewellers, sculptors, furniture makers, weavers, potters, printmakers, photographers, glassblowers, and more.

While there are multiple studios for the event, the central area is bounded by Columbia St, 1st Ave, Victoria Drive, and the Waterfront.

Including over 500 artists, craftspeople, as well as designers, the event commences on Thursday, November 15 and runs until Sunday, November 18 at various locations.

If you're hungry, check out the Crawl App to find the locations of tasty food vendors such as Uprising Breads, Union Food Market, Fujiya, and Espresstotec.

There will also be a a multi-venue salon-style exhibition called Spaces, Places and Traces that is a Culture Crawl preview exhibit. The exhibition will feature 70 artists that are taking part in this year's crawl, and includes painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, video and other media.

They will have opening receptions at the following locations:

  • Saturday, October 27 at The Arts Factory from 8:30 pm - 10 pm
  • Thursday, November 1 at the Firehall Arts Centre from 6 pm - 8pm
  • Thursday, November 1 at The Cultch from 6 pm - 8 pm
  • Thursday, November 1 at Alternative Creations Gallery 6 pm - 8pm
