The Vancouver Podcast Festival explores true crime and justice live this week

Presented by DOXA, the Vancouver Podcast Festival commences on Thursday, November 8, and promises to entertain as well as educate its audiences.

Presented by DOXA, the Vancouver Podcast Festival commences on Thursday, November 8, and promises to entertain as well as educate its audiences.

With a focus on "True Crime, True Justice," the festival aims to generate a discussion around the criminal justice system. Featuring podcasts from Canada and the United States, guests may enjoy live-tapings, workshops, onstage Q&As, panels, and more.

Further, it is, " dedicated to highlighting the power and potential of podcasts, and bringing together local podcast creators with national and international series."

Guests may opt to attend a single festival event or they may purchase a festival pass. While two of the festival passes are sold out, they may still purchase the Fan Festival Pass which includes tickets to all four shows at The Rio Theatre. Further, they get a snazzy VanPodFest tote bag.

The festival runs from Thursday, November 8 until Saturday, November 10 at various locations in Vancouver.

Where: The Rio Theatre - 1660 E Broadway, Vancouver Public Library - 350 West Georgia Street, The Post at 750 - 750 Hamilton Street, CBC Vancouver -  700 Hamilton Street, and a "secret location"
