While the Vancouver weather was decidedly wet at the start of November, things are expected to clear for the long weekend.

On Friday, November 9, Environment Canada calls for a 40 per cent chance of drizzle or rain. Following Friday, however, the forecast calls for brilliantly clear, sunny skies and a high of 8 degrees.

What's more, Remembrance Day is also expected to be sunny and clear with a high of 8 degrees. Monday, November 12, will see the same pleasant weather; however, the rain returns to the city on Tuesday, with the forecast calling for a 60 per cent chance of showers.

Vancouver saw a great deal of rainfall toward the end of October. In fact, there was heavy flooding in Olympic Village and parts of Richmond. What’s more, there were reports of 15 to 20 millimetres of rainfall in roughly two hours.
