Soak in a dance of light, sound, and colour at this FREE Robson Street event

Winter's Dance returns to Robson Street on December 1 and 2 for its third public art installation to kick off the holiday season.

Winter's Dance returns to Robson Street on December 1 and 2 for its third public art installation to kick off the holiday season.

This colourful display is presented by the Robson Street Business Association, in collaboration with Small Stage, ‘The Music Box Dancers’ and makes the area dance with a festive arrangement of light, colour and sound. Performances will be repeated every 15 minutes throughout the evening until 9 pm, and there will some jolly live performers in a few of the neighbouring storefront windows.

The events take place at 1155 Robson Street at 6 pm each night, and deliver a whimsical fusion of live and digital dance complemented with innovative technology onto the façade of the John Robson Building.

Cannoli King, Mollie’s Minis and Kafka House food trucks will also be in the area offering warm beverages and delicious treats to visitors.

The official launch of another festive display takes place on Friday, November 30 at Bute Robson Plaza. The event includes live dancers performing inside a snow globe for that evening only, and then a festive display remains in the plaza for the rest of the month.
