Watch one of Canada's tallest Christmas trees get lit this Saturday

One of Canada's tallest trees, standing at an epic 65 feet high, will be lit at the 6th annual Highstreet Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Show in the Fraser Valley on Saturday, November 17.

One of Canada's tallest trees, standing at an epic 65 feet high, will be lit at the 6th annual Highstreet Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Show in the Fraser Valley on Saturday, November 17.

While the tree is one of the main attractions, guests will also be privy to a dazzling 30 minute live show that includes a spectacular multi-media light display that showcases 6,000 tri-colour LED bulbs that dance to festive musical favourites. What's more, the spectacular event will include the arrival of Santa Clause, Rudolf, Frosty, Spandy Andy the dancing elf, a 40-piece marching band, a team of festive dancers, and live music by, local talent, Greg Neufeld.

“Once again, we’re excited to bring this holiday tradition to the Fraser Valley and delight our guests with a truly spectacular outdoor show,” says Tanya Curtis, General Manager of Highstreet.

The holiday experience kicks off the festive season which will take place on five Saturdays until December 15.

From November 18 – December 10, visitors may enjoy photos with Santa in an oversized giftbox as well as send a handwritten letter to Santa. What's more, for every letter collected, Highstreet will also donate a can of food to the Abbotsford Food Bank. Keep in mind, however, that letters must be received by December 10.

From November 18 – December 24, visitors may enjoy complimentary gift wrap with donations to the Abbotsford Food Bank.
