VIDEO: Vancouver police ask for help finding suspect who pushed man into traffic

Vancouver Police are asking the public to come forward with any information they may have regarding an incident that took place outside of the Pacific National Exhibition this July where a suspect pushed a man into traffic.

Vancouver Police are asking the public to come forward with any information they may have regarding an incident that took place outside of the Pacific National Exhibition this July.

According to VPD, the incident took place on East Hastings Street on the night of July 15 after two men stopped to check on the well-being of a woman who appeared intoxicated. Following this, an agitated man who was following the woman ran forward and pushed a man into traffic.

The victim was struck and driven over by a white SUV that was travelling westbound and consequently sustained serious, although non-life threatening injuries.

While the assault took place on July 15, police are imploring the public to come forward with any info they may have.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his mid-20s, 6’0” to 6’2” tall, with a heavy athletic build. He has short dark hair, dark stubble on his face, and was wearing a black crew-neck t-shirt and dark shorts.

The woman is described as Asian, 20 to 25-years-old, 5’2” to 5’4” tall, with a slim build. She has medium length black hair and was wearing a white tank-top or a sun dress.
