Presented by the Port of Vancouver, Christmas at Canada Place transports visitors into an enchanted wonderland.

Beginning Friday, December 7, the waterfront will be transformed into a magical walkway experience for four weeks until January 3.

For example, Woodward’s Windows, an iconic part of Vancouver’s history, will feature classic holiday scenes with animatronic characters and elaborate decor. Similarly, the Canadian Trail along the outdoor promenade at Canada Place will be transformed with beautifully decorated Christmas trees and lights.

Visitors may also enjoy the Canada’s North light display at Canada Place’s North Point. It will feature an impressive, 15 foot illuminated moose figure, named "Chrismoose" who is meant to embody the holiday spirit.

Each weekend visitors can also enjoy the sounds of the holidays with iconic Christmas classic tunes performed by the Silver Belles, an a cappella Christmas caroling trio, and the Santa’s Saxes Duo, performing jazzy holiday classics along the west promenade of Canada Place. Performances take place from noon until 2:00 pm on both days of the weekend.

In addition, Canada Place's breathtaking sails will be illuminated with Christmas inspired colours and designs.

“Every year we look forward to inviting the community to enjoy this colourful holiday exhibit, which has become a tradition for so many,” said Tom Corsie, president, Canada Place Corporation and vice president of real estate, Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.

“We are thrilled to welcome locals and visitors alike to join us and get into the holiday spirit, surrounded by the iconic views of Vancouver’s working waterfront.”
