**UPDATE: Drive BC has reported that the Stanley Park Causeway is now clear in both directions. With that in mind, the ministry advises that there may be delays in both directions due to congestion.**
A major accident in Vancouver has closed the Stanley Park Causeway in both directions.
Drive BC tweeted about the vehicle incident just before 6 pm on Monday, Nov 26. They are advising drivers to use an alternate route and expect heavy delays.
An alternate route may be taken via the Iron Workers Bridge, and Southbound traffic can detour through Stanley Park Drive. In addition, Translink buses are being detoured away from the Lions Gate Bridge.
