In November, Bear Creek Park invited visitors to stroll through an ever changing display of illuminated colours in the tall trees and shrubbery.

Now, the Surrey Park is preparing to open Winterfest on Friday, Dec. 7. The annual festival is one of the city's largest festive celebrations, and offers guests a number of magical activities. For example, The Christmas Train takes people all around the park, so that they may journey through a whimsical illuminated wonderland. The train is open Wednesday to Sunday from 6 pm to 9 pm.

In addition, the festival invites guests to take part in the "Santa Express" everyday from 10 am to 4 pm. They may enjoy arts and crafts, treats, and bring cameras to take pictures with jolly ol' Saint Nick.
