Grouse Mountain is beautiful throughout the year, but the Peak of Christmas transforms into a sparkling wonderland during the holiday season.

Described as “Vancouver’s north pole,” the area sparkles with breathtaking light installations, including a majestic light tunnel and illuminated reindeer.

There are numerous places to capture a photo amongst the beautiful lights, Santa's workshop, or even among some adorable reindeer.

What's more, the mountain has an incredible 8,000 square foot mountaintop ice skating pond that is free to enjoy with the purchase of a lift ticket. Similarly, the mountain offers a family fun zone called the "Sliding Zone," which provides designated lanes and groomed terrain that is perfect for sliding.

Have a look at some of this year's photo's from this frosted festive wonderland.
