Vancouver may be the least likely city Canadian city to see a white Christmas, but Environment Canada calls for a chance of the white stuff in this week's forecast.
While the department isn't calling for snow on the big day, the Metro Vancouver weather forecast includes a chance of flurries this week.
Starting on Monday, December 17, the forecast calls for rain and a high of nine degrees. Following this, Tuesday will be wet with a high of ten. The rainfall continues through the week until Friday, when the forecast calls for bright sunshine and a high of seven during the day.
Since the skies clear, however, the temperature falls to zero degrees overnight. On Saturday the forecast calls for rain during the day, but then it predicts a chance of flurries overnight.

Vancouver Weather Forecast
Vancouver saw one of its wettest weeks on record this month. While the first week of December was relatively dry and sunny, things took a decidedly damp turn after that. The forecast originally called for snow, however, it rained in the Lower Mainland instead.
The Weather Network also released its B.C. winter forecast and it may come as a shock to some. In fact, it is looking decidedly mild overall. The Lower Mainland is expected to see fewer episodes of Arctic air as well as fewer threats of significant snow.
