While flying to Toronto can often cost a staggering amount of money, WestJet’s discount carrier, Swoop, is making eastbound travel a bit lighter on Metro Vancouver wallets.

Right now, the discount carrier's Swooper Sale offers extreme savings on almost all of their Abbotsford itineraries. As such, travel to Hamilton, Ontario is extremely affordable, with one-way fares starting for as little as $65 CAD including tax and fees. What's more, the total cost of a return ticket, including tax, may be as little as $115.82 CAD.

Of course, not all residents of the Lower Mainland are able to travel out of Abbotsford. Furthermore, some people prefer to land in Toronto rather than commuting from Hamilton. With that in mind, travellers who are looking to score the lowest fare possible will find that this ticket is literally hundreds less than other airlines offering flights between the two cities.

WestJet and Air Canada currently have seat sales as well, and therefore their tickets are lower than they are during the rest of the year. As a result, it is a good time to book with these airlines, too.

Check out the Swooper Sale here.

Note: While the low-cost carrier is an extremely affordable alternative, it is worthwhile to note that there are a number of additional costs. For one, luggage will cost extra, as will selecting your own seat or even speaking to an operator. As such, it is important to factor in what you need to bring, or if you want to sit in a particular spot prior to making a purchase.
