The next Taboo Naughty but Nice Sex Show comes with an unusual twist.

Featured speaker and relationship expert Dr. Jess will broach the topic of sex dolls, as well as the recently-opened sex doll brothel in Vancouver. Dr. Jess is happy that the topic has become a catalyst for more open-ended sexual conversations in the public-at-large.

“While not everyone is interested in sex tech as a field or sex dolls, these technologies help to open up new and meaningful conversations about relationships and sex in general,” she says. “Whether they make you feel uncomfortable or excite you in some way, addressing the related feelings can help to improve understanding and inspire you to communicate with your partner in more creative ways.”

A sex doll brothel called "Bella Dolls" has opened doors for business in Vancouver and people are already renting out its selection of ‘ladies.' The couple that owns and runs the business also also have a “sex doll rental” service in Kamloops called House of Dolls. The business is the first of its kind in Canada and allows customers to rent dolls for $350 a night with a $500 damage deposit.

And, according to experts from the Kinsey Institute, one of the world's leading institutions for sex research, these brothels may prove advantageous for those who are too timed or repressed to seek out their own sexual experiences.

“Dolls and robots obviously aren’t for everyone, but they do provide an alternative for people who don’t have a partner and couples looking for alternative sexual outlets,” Dr. Jess explains further. “Some couples consider dolls and robots a safe alternative to a human third party.”

The three-day event provides an upscale adult playground dedicated to enhancing lifestyles, encouraging romance, personal betterment and all-things taboo.

Guests may enjoy entertainment, provocative and educational seminars, unique shopping, fashion shows and live demonstrations.
