RCMP search for single suspect in 3 separate groping incidents in Metro Vancouver

RCMP are warning the public about a 'Surrey groper' who they believe is the suspect in three incidents of groping at three separate retail stores.

Surrey RCMP are warning the public about an individual who they believe is the suspect in three separate incidents of groping.

In all three incidents the suspect allegedly groped a female employee after asking them for help. All three incidents took place in different retail locations.

On December 22 at roughly 5 pm, the suspect entered a store located at the 12000 block of 72nd Avenue. He requested assistance from a female employee and then proceeded to touch her lower back and grab her buttocks. Following this, he grabbed her arm and tried to walk with her, but the employee broke free and the suspect quickly left the store.

The second incident took place on December 31 at roughly 2:45 pm. The suspect entered a store located in the 10300 block of 152 Street and requested assistance from a female employee. He then grabbed her buttocks and touched her groin before leaving the store.

The third incident took place on January 18 at around 8:45 pm when the suspect entered a store on the 7400 block of King George Boulevard. He requested assistance from a female employee and proceeded to brush his hand against buttocks before grabbing them and then exiting the store.

The suspect is described as South Asian with chubby cheeks, medium chubby build and a moustache.  At the time of the first occurrence he was wearing a dark coloured baseball hat, dark hoody and dark sweatpants. At the time of the second occurrence the suspect was wearing a dark coloured Nike brand sweatshirt and a light coloured necklace. During the third occurrence, the male was wearing a grey sweater and black pants.

Video surveillance photos from these occurrences are being released in hopes that someone can assist the police investigations and identify the suspect.
