20 photos that prove snow in Vancouver is totally worth it

School closures, traffic tangles, and bus delays be damned: Vancouver is still mighty beautiful blanketed in snow.

And if you’re like most Vancouverites, you’ve been seeing plenty of “OMG SNOW!” posts on social media, from the requisite “it’s still falling” videos to the breathtaking landscape shots (with a few brave souls spotted on bicycles in between).

We had snow Monday, and a companion set of snow photos, so as we settle deep into Tuesday’s round of cold white stuff falling, please enjoy more snaps of Vancouver, ankle-deep in snow.

Tag your photos #vancouverisawesome on Instagram to show us your snow (and everything else, too!).

SNOW DAY in Vancity ?? You obviously can’t tell in this photo, but winter gets the worst of me, I am moody and annoyed when it gets this cold. Have you heard about being hangry, mmm about about coldgry lol do you feel the same way? Ok no, amazing, if yes then keep reading …Is February taking away your joy?, know that you are NOT alone, in fact lots of things are playing against us humans, ?? lack of vitamin D, ??the change of our routine ??lack of motivation, ??difficulty sleeping,?? lack of interest??the feeling of hopeless ??an overall sense of anxiety or AKA the winter blues,? what I learned is that we need to be more proactive on taking care of our mental health ? and wellbeing, so we don’t have a crappy month. A few reminders: exercise (I am so guilty of skipping this lately, too cold ????) try to enjoy the little things, write down a few things that you are grateful for daily ?? —— >train your mind to find the positives things, try to sleep for 8 hours sleep ? , try to drink lots of water ? try to fill your day with things you love doing ? and try adding meditation to your day ???? as well as taking a few deep breathe during the day?ok I said try try try, because of course we won’t do these everyday (and if you need profesional help, seek it, so you can have that professional perspective and support) oh and for me, staying indoors as much as possible while spring is here ? ? • • • • #vancityhype #vancity #snowday #vancouverisawesome #passionpassport #vancitybuzz #vancouver #ootd #pnwonderland #explorebc #beautifulbc #vancitywildb #flashesofdelight #passionpassport #verilymoment #littlestoriesofmylife #visualcrush #theeverygirl #everydaymoments #subjectlight #seekthesimplicity  #instastyle #liveauthentic
