Mounties are asking for the public’s help identifying a man linked to more than $40,000 in fraudulent transactions.
Police have been investigating since 2018, but have exhausted all their leads.

On Nov. 14, 2018, Richmond RCMP responded to a bank in the 4900 block of No 3 Road after a report of a fraudulent transaction.
They began investigating, and eventually uncovered tens of thousands of dollars in fraudulent transactions linked to the same individual.
On Tuesday, police released an image of the “distinguished” suspect. He’s pictured wearing a tan trench coat, a scarf and a poppy.
“[We] are hoping that by releasing the images, someone in the community will be able to recognize the suspect,” said Cpl. Dennis Hwang.
“If you recognize this man, please contact us. Your information may be able to link him to additional crimes that are not yet on our radar.”
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man who is half bald and wears glasses. He’s about 65 years old with a medium build.
