While there are many things to check out at Coomb’s Country Market, the goats on the roof are undoubtedly the biggest attraction.

Of course, many people come to the market to shop or get a bite to eat, but there are some who simply make the trek to see the furry beasts on the market rooftop.

The charming, sure-footed residents watch over the market from their grassy post, and they appear to be quite at home.

The ‘root cellar’ offers an open air produce market that offers a range of produce daily at competitive pricing. Similarly, the market offers food, gifts, and groceries beneath the famous goats overhead. They even have a donut shop named Billy G’s Donut Shop that serves Billy Gruff Bombers – they have caramel filling and are topped with bacon – and are a salute to the goats, of course.

The Taqueria also serves mouth-watering tacos during the market’s lunch-time hours, and provides a number of choices that are ideal on a warm, sunny day. Alternatively, the Cuckoo Trattoria and Pizzeria offers an indulgent blend of West Coast cooking and authentic Italian fare. During the summer months the market has a delicious creamery that serves an over 60 flavours of ice cream as well as other treats.

Zolena boutique offers a range of beautiful gifts and textiles, as well as unique fashion beauty products. Wabi Sabi Boardware is a ‘surfer’s paradise’ equipped with boards and attire to suit your every surfing need.

Last, the market also has a large garden centre that offers a range of plants and accessories.
