Cherry blossoms, sunny skies, and balmy evenings mean the arrival of a new season: Patio season! It's the time of year when we ditch the hand-held umbrellas in favour of great big patio umbrellas, and mark the hours sipping cold drinks in the warm sun.
One of Vancouver's favourite patios happens to be perched on a restaurant rooftop in the heart of the city's downtown, and they've just revealed their plans to open for the 2019 season.

Joe Fortes is known for their seafood platters and celeb clientele, and come spring and summer, their glorious rooftop patio. Just steps off Robson Street, the Joe Fortes rooftop offers an elevated escape from the downtown hustle.
Showcasing a dedicated bar serving up new spring cocktails, and a menu of new seasonal eats, the Joe Fortes patio will open its doors starting Saturday, April 6. Of course, patio season is always dependent on the weather, so Joe Fortes cautions the launch, and patio days, are weather permitting.
