“The complainant alleged the driver had cut him off and when confronted, threatened him. Further, he alleged a firearm was present inside the [vehicle],” said Langley RCMP’s Cpl. Holly Largy in a press release.

Officers came to the area, while RCMP’s Air 1 helicopter followed the car to Richmond where the man eventually fled into a building.

Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team and the Richmond RCMP were all on scene to take the suspect into custody.

The 22-year-old, who has no fixed address and has multiple outstanding warrants, is now being held by Langley RCMP and is expected to appear in court in the next few days.
