Vancouver Craft Beer Week is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a limited edition collaboration beer from Four Winds, Powell and Dageraad.

Ten, a dry-hopped table saison, is low in alcohol and bursting with tropical flavours, no doubt making it a refreshing summer beer.

More than 100 brewers and members of the craft beer community from across B.C. gathered at Four Winds Brewing Co. in Delta last week for the ceremonial brew day of the collab beer.

This annual tradition of coming together to commemorate VCBW with a collaborative brew has grown into one of the most highly anticipated trade events of the year.

Four Winds Brewing Co., in partnership with Burnaby’s Dageraad Brewing and Vancouver’s Powell Brewery, developed the recipe for the 10th annual VCBW collab beer, which features a can design illustrated by artist Luke Ramsey.

This milestone-marking beer is scheduled to hit shelves in mid-May, just a few weeks before the 10th annual VCBW kicks off on Friday, May 31. Ten will be available in four-packs of 473 mL cans at select private liquor and beer stores, and on draft at the three collaborating breweries as well as a few selected bars and restaurants. Partial proceeds from the sales will be donated to the BC Hospitality Foundation.

VCBW 2019 kicks off on Friday, May 31, continuing throughout the week with events and programming all over the city, culminating at the historic PNE fairgrounds on Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9, where more than 100 craft breweries and cideries will be pouring 300+ beers and ciders.
