Ask For Luigi will feature a special Mother‘s Day cocktail, the Rosé Spritz (Italian rosé, Cocchi Rosa vermouth, Campari, rose lemon soda). In addition to the featured cocktail, mothers will receive complimentary meringues and can enter a draw for a $100 gift card.

East Van Roasters

This Mother’s Day, East Van Roasters has created lovely fragrant chocolate treats with flavours inspired by spring. The 2019 Mother’s Day Collection includes exclusive truffles and fresh bars in beautiful flavour combinations of rose petals and bing cherries, lemon and lavender, and strawberry and jasmine. Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

Upstairs in the ballroom will be a Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea & Garden Party inspired by a classic English garden, filled with blooms, live music and a menu fit for a queen. A photo-worthy fresh flower wall is a perfect backdrop for a picture with mom wearing her fascinator, and all adults receive a welcome glass of bubbly or Caesar cocktail. Afternoon tea includes a selection of scones with clotted cream and preserves, savoury sandwiches, and desserts. Reservations are available at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m.; adults are $99 (includes welcome glass of sparkling), and half price for children 12 years of age and under.

Fairmont Vancouver Airport

Fairmont Vancouver Airport is celebrating mom all weekend in Globe@YVR with a special Mothers’ Day Afternoon Tea on Saturday and Sunday. Choose from the donut wall, interact with the chef at the pop-up chocolate station and enjoy live music. For tea, items include local stone fruit scone with homemade preserves, savouries such as crab cake and dill cucumber sandwich and sweets like lychee rose layer cake and Earl Grey chocolate mousse. All mothers will receive a sweet take-away from the pastry chef. Seatings are offered at noon and 2:30 p.m. and it’s priced at $69 per adult and half price for children 12 and under. Faubourg

Faubourg will have special pastries (Milk Chocolate Mousse, Raspberry Mousse, and Chocolate Plaque on a Sable Breton) available May 11-12. They’ll also be serving a special Afternoon Tea from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their Kerrisdale location that includes a welcome cocktail.

H Tasting Lounge

Inspired by royalty, H Tasting Lounge’s refined afternoon tea service will make Mom feel like a queen. Choose from a tasteful array of sweet and savoury delicacies, paired with the lounge’s signature bonsai tree candy floss (presented on a golden Ferris wheel). All moms will depart with a Tealeaves ‘Pinkies Up!’ kit featuring organic English Breakfast and Earl Grey teas. Mother’s Day High Tea at Ikea – Richmond

On Sunday, May 12, the furniture store will introduce its high tea service “with a Swedish twist.” Tickets are good for two people and include a selection of sandwiches, pastries and Ikea’s own blend of teas. Two seatings are scheduled, one at 1 p.m. and a second at 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from the Ikea Richmond restaurant and are $24.99 a pair for Ikea Family members or $29.99 for non-members.

Juke Fried Chicken

Raise a glass to Mom at Juke, which will be featuring a Mother‘s Day cocktail giving all those special moms a great reason to go out and treat themselves – or be treated! The beautiful cocktail is designed by Olivia Povarchook, Juke’s award-winning bartender, and features gin from Vancouver’s distillery Odd Society.

Ladurée

This Mother’s Day, Ladurée celebrates all moms with a collection centred on the queen of flowers, the rose. Items include a custom, rose garden macaron gift box designed by artisanal wallpaper artists A Paris chez Antoinette Poisson; Ladurée’s classic rose desserts such as the Ispahan, Saint Honoré, and Religieuse; a new gourmet Marie Antoinette Tea Macaron; Mother’s Day Tea; and a special collaboration with local florist Landeau. Mon Paris Patisserie

Celebrated pastry chef Elena Krasnova has created a unique collection of sweet chocolate gifts and will be hosting a special Afternoon Tea for Mother’s Day. Chocolate flower pots and teacups designed just for mom adorn the shelves of the Burnaby treat shop. Tea is priced at $45 per person and includes a selection of premium teas, savoury and sweet treats (add Champagne for $10). Odd Society Spirits

East Van’s Odd Society is offering a High (Proof) Tea at their tasting room, created in partnership with two of Vancouver’s favourite secret supper club hosts, Toby Neumann and chef Tobias Grignon of Rabbit’s Foot Culinary. And no worries, this isn’t limited to moms – everyone’s welcome. Vegan option is available. Seatings are at noon and 3 p.m. and tickets must be purchased in advance.

Afternoon Tea at the Shangri-La Hotel

Exclusive to this year’s Mother’s Day celebrations, afternoon tea will be served in the hotel’s lobby, a tranquil urban oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of the luxury retail shops along Alberni Street. During tea service,  enjoy live music courtesy of well-known Vancouver-based pianist, Perry Dickison. Executive Chef Ken Nakano and his team of expert pastry chefs have created a lavish Afternoon Tea tower, featuring both savoury and sweet bites. Each tea tower also comes with lemon and matcha tea scones served with house made clotted cream and a selection of freshly prepared preserves. Origo Club

Origo Club will host a very special edition of their Afternoon Tea service on Mother’s Day weekend. Available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, this tea service offers a selection of small bites, sandwiches and pastries, paired with a choice of tea or specialty coffee for $45 per guest plus tax and gratuity. The service, which can be supplemented with a glass of Barons de Rothschild Champagne for an additional $35 per person, also offers a feature ‘Bisou Cocktail’ (or mocktail) available throughout the weekend that mingles peach purée and homemade strawberry syrup with Barons de Rothschild Champagne or soda. Temper Chocolate & Pastry

West Vancouver’s Temper will have a Mother’s Day Brunch Box gift set, which includes a box of gourmet chocolates, house-made granola, loose-leaf tea, buttery croissants and a handcrafted chocolate bar. Thierry Cafe

In honour of Mother’s Day this year, Maitre Chocolatier and Patissier Chef Thierry Busset has crafted a beautiful Passion Fruit Rum Baba that showcases a bounty of fresh tropical fruits crowned on a passion fruit cream filled brioche. Choose from individual to large format sizes that range from $8.25 to $52.95. Orders by phone or online are currently being taken at Thierry Cafe for just the weekend of May 10-12. Ancora Waterfront Dining and Patio

At both Ancora locations (False Creek and Ambleside) Executive Chef Ricardo Valverde is giving guests a memorable way to honour all the mothers in their lives with an exclusive menu of his award-winning Peruvian-meets-Japanese ‘Nikkei’ cuisine for Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 12. ARC at Fairmont Waterfront

At Fairmont Waterfront, ARC is offering seatings for Mother’s Day Brunch at 10 a.m. and noon and with floor-to-ceiling views of the harbour, there is always something to watch. Family friendly with a special kids’ culinary station, the brunch also has everyone’s favourite breakfast items along with a prime rib and salmon carving station, dessert buffet with treats from their pastry shop, a complimentary mimosa for all adults and live music. Aura at Nita Lake Lodge

If Mother’s Day weekend finds you hitting the road for Whistler, Aura at Nita Lake Lodge will have a beautiful seafood-focused Mother’s Day brunch spread. The meal is $79, and will be served from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 12.

BlueShore Financial Mother’s Day Run and Brunch

The BlueShore Financial Mother’s Day Run, presented by The Westin Bayshore, combines fitness, fun and food — for families of all ages. Enjoy a brisk 3k, 5k or 10k run (or walk — you set the pace) through Stanley Park and Coal Harbour, and be greeted at the finish line with some swag. Then, relax and celebrate in the Bayshore’s Grand Foyer and enjoy a post-run Mother’s Day festival, followed by brunch and kids’ activities in the Grand Ballroom. Tickets range from $45-$69 for adults (12 and up); $29-$45 for children 6 to 11; and free for children 5 and under. Botanist at Fairmont Pacific Rim

Brunch in Botanist includes a Strawberry Fields Forever cocktail on arrival, a welcome amuse, pastry and pantry pop up breakfast with fruits charcuterie, pastries and breads, choice of carveries with salmon and roasts, mains and dessert buffet for $98 per person.  Every mom will receive a gift to take away.  Reservations are recommended and can be made online or by phone at 604-695-5500.

Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar

The award-winning culinary team at Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar will offer the restaurant’s ‘Grand Buffet’ service for both brunch (10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and dinner (5 to 10 p.m.) services on Mother’s Day. The spread includes house-baked pastries, fresh fruit and salads, charcuterie and cheese, an array of fresh seafood selections, carving stations featuring roasted leg of lamb and porchetta and a variety of desserts. As part of its Mother’s Day brunch service, Boulevard will also be rolling out its signature ‘Mimosa Cart.’ Reservations for the Mother’s Day grand buffet services ($79 per person plus tax and gratuity, $35 for children) also include a special take-home treat for moms in attendance. Burdock & Co.

The Main Street eatery is inviting families to spend some quality time together over a delicious brunch. Chef Andrea and the talented culinary team will be featuring dishes that strike a perfect balance between traditional and modern. The farm-fresh west coast style menu includes a two-course meal with coffee and tea. Make a reservation or book online. Brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cardero’s

Beginning this spring – just in time for Mother’s Day – and continuing every Sunday throughout the year, the new brunch menu from Cardero’s Executive Chef Jason Kleinfeld and his culinary team features a selection of savoury breakfast items available Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in addition to the restaurant’s regular lunch menu. Look for West Coast inspired items showcasing fresh vegetables and Ocean Wise seafood.

Colette Grand Café

Enjoy a special menu on May 11 and 12, as well as the addition of Vancouver illustrator Mandy Lau being on-hand from noon to 3 p.m. to create custom live illustrations for the guests.

Dockside Restaurant

Dockside’s buffet offers dozens of fresh-made items served at themed stations inspired by the bounty of Granville Island Public Market. Choose from brunch classics like made-to-order omelettes, Eggs Benedict, waffles, pancakes, and French toast, along with treats like slow-roasted meats, a world of seafood, cheese, fresh veggies, housemade pastries, and a special surprise dessert. Fable Diner

On Mother’s Day, Fable Diner will be running a $27 optional special menu  or brunch, which has a savoury starter, choice of entree and sweet finish (it includes coffee or tea and a mimosa or large fresh juice). Reservations are available.

Fable Kitchen

Chef Trevor Bird and his team has created an optional Mother’s Day brunch menu for $32. Start with house-made banana bread with maple butter, with choice of brunch entree; finish with French Toast Corner Dessert. This menu includes coffee or tea and choice of grapefruit/orange mimosa or large glass of fresh squeezed Cyoni OJ. Bonus: Every mom receives a complimentary jar of Black Pepper Jam. Brunch starts at 9:30 a.m. Reservations are available.

The Flying Pig

For Mother’s Day Brunch, The Flying Pig will have some specials, like an Atlantic Lobster and Avocado Benedict, and the Family Style Platter will be loaded with Vanilla Waffles, Fresh Berries and Whip Cream, Corned Beef Hash, Fried Eggs, Cheddar Gratin, Scrambled Eggs, Back Bacon, Grilled Breakfast Sausage and Multigrain Toast.

H2 Rotisserie & Bar

Feast on a brunch spread that truly has something for everyone. Menu highlights include carveries of prime rib, Maple Hill Farms rotisserie chicken and boneless lamb leg; assorted dim sum; build-your-own Buddha bowls; a cold seafood tower featuring poached prawns, mussels and clams; all the breakfast favourites (eggs Benedict, double-smoked bacon, waffles); a made-to-order Crêpes Suzette “action station”; a wide selection of desserts, and much more. Homer Street Café

Look for a Mother’s Day special dish at brunchtime: Butter poached halibut, poached hen’s egg, hollandaise, grilled asparagus, and pickled fennel. The seasonal gem joins the already-beloved brunchtime lineup at this Yaletown spot. They’ll also have a halibut special on the menu for dinner on Sunday, too.

Market by Jean-Georges

Market by Jean-Georges will be offering a three-course brunch menu on Sunday May 12. Guests will have a selection to choose from in each course, which may be tough with dishes such as Roasted Vegetable & Truffle Boulangère; Dungeness Crab & Avocado Brioche; B.C. Morel Mushroom & Kale Quiche; and Brioche French Toast. Notch8 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

Mother’s Day brunch is served in Notch8 from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and features their popular buffet with fresh juice cart, pastries, breakfast favourites, a chef-attended egg station, charcuterie and cheeses, salads, a seafood bar, carving station with prime rib and roast turkey, and a smorgasbord of desserts created by the hotel’s in-house pastry shop. A harpist provides background music and every mother will receive a selection of chocolates to take home. Adults are $79, children 12 and under are $39.50. Call 604-662-1900 to reserve.

Pourhouse

Gastown’s Pourhouse will give guests a new reason to rise and shine every weekend by adding a delicious new brunch menu starting on Mother‘s Day weekend, May 11 and 12. Brunch is available from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with live music each Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. The menu offers sweet and savoury small plates in addition to larger dishes. Limited reservations for Pourhouse’s weekend brunch services are available with a valid credit card by calling the restaurant at 604-568-7022.

The Salted Vine Kitchen + Bar

On Sunday, Squamish’s The Salted Vine is hosting brunch, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Diners will find an array of Chef/Co-Owner Jeff Park’s signature Pacific Northwest-inspired fare such as Eggs Benedicts, lemon ricotta pancakes, Croque Madame, and ‘Eggs in Purgatory’ as well as desserts and celebratory sips .Reservations for The Salted Vine Kitchen + Bar’s Mother’s Day brunch service can be made online at saltedvine.ca or by calling the restaurant at 604-390-1910.

Tableau Bar Bistro

At Tableau in Coal Harbour you’ll find a set of French-inspired dishes on special at brunch: Grilled asparagus, Comté cheese, poached hen’s egg, brioche; and Hand peeled shrimp croissant tartine, avocado, spring greens, sunny side egg. Look for a duo of seasonal seafood specials available for Mother Day evening dinner service here as well.

The Teahouse

The Teahouse will be featuring a Lemon & Blueberry Croissant bread pudding for Mother’s Brunch, which starts at 10 a.m. and is available until 3 p.m. That evening they’ll have a prime rib dinner (three courses for $42.50 or just the prime rib for $35). Reservations are recommended.

Two Rivers Specialty Meats

On Mother’s Day, the Two Rivers team will celebrate Mom by opening an hour early to host a one-day-only prix-fixe brunch menu. Offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the three-course menu includes house-made scones with local preserves to start followed by a choice of appetizer and main. For those with a lighter appetite, all three entrée options will be available on an à-la-carte basis for the entire day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. They’ll have special cocktails on offer as well.

West Restaurant + Bar

Let Executive Chef Bobby Milheron put his touch on your family brunch with all-time favourites like his Brioche French Toast with Rhubarb Compote, Crushed Avocado with a Soft Poached Egg, and Corned Beef Brisket Hash. YEW seafood + bar

Be spoiled at YEW’s legendary Mother’s Day Brunch by an enticing selection of dishes, action stations, delights from the raw bar, charcuterie and carvery stations. Gyoza Bar

At Gyoza Bar, diners can celebrate Mother’s Day from May 10 to 12 with a Surf and Turf Family Style Bao Board ($36) for dinner, featuring butter poached lobster tail, bistro-style tenderloin steak, Korean spiced pork rib, and miso baked scallop, served with spicy tuna poke, tsukemono, asian slaw, butter lettuce, bao buns and house-made sauces. Say cheers over a Guava x Lemongrass Frozen Cocktail or the Perseus 2016 Rosé.

Miku

Miku’s delicacies for Mother’s Day are available for lunch and dinner on May 11 and 12. Lunch features include a Chef’s Select ($36), a selection of Miku’s famous Oshi Sushi, most popular nigiri (both traditional and Aburi-style), and rolls, served with a prawn and quinoa salad and miso soup. For dinner, guests can toast with a glass of Crémant de Bourgogne Rosé over the special Kansha Mother’s Day Kaisen Seafood Platter ($35 per person), which features fresh sashimi from the West Coast and Japan, local oysters, kanpachi crudo, and smoked Hokkaido scallops. End the night on a sweet note with Miku’s Earl Grey Brûlée ($14), an earl grey blue star infused custard with a rich salted honey lavender chantilly, kinako crumble, and seasonal berries.

Minami

Minami’s extended Mother’s Day menus are also available for lunch and dinner, from May 10 to May 12. For lunch, highlights include the Ora King Salmon ($27) entrée served with togarashi-lemon sansai orzo, tomato wasabi salsa verde, sesame spinach coulis, and crispy togarashi kale. For dinner, give a toast to mom with the Kiku ($14) chrysanthemum cocktail or Dames Rosé paired with the limited time surf and turf entrée, the Free Range Fraser Valley Chicken Ballotine and Pan Seared Scallops ($38). Dessert is a decadent Manjari Chocolate Paris Brest ($15) featuring manjari chocolate ganache, yuzu tuile, blueberry crumble, and warm blueberry yuzu sauce.

WildTale

Special Mother’s Day lunch service is available at WildTale’s Yaletown location. Enjoy features like Lobster BLT with Atlantic Lobster or Ahi Tuna Niçoise.
