This is how you can get free Tacofino tacos in Vancouver next week

Why? Because free tacos are involved. That’s why.

Now that we’ve got your attention…

CFA Society Vancouver wants to taco ’bout finance, money and investing and they’re willing to buy Vancouverites some of the city’s best Mexican food to do it.

CFA SV will be taking over the Tacofino truck parked in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery on May 16, to hand out two free tacos to each of the first 165 lucky folks that arrive.

“CFA charterholders will be on hand to answer questions about fees, investor rights, why it’s important you ensure your advisor is accredited, and to explain the concept of Putting Investors First, a pillar in the ethical framework by which all CFA charterholders are governed,” a CFA SV media release stated.

Founded in 1965, CFA SV is a local Society within CFA Institute, the world’s leading professional organization for financial analysts and portfolio managers.

“The Putting Investors First Campaign is a global initiative created by CFA Institute to provide awareness about the fiduciary responsibility CFA charterholders have to the investing public, as well as their duty to protect investors’ interests,” the release stated.

Beyond the learning opportunity, who among us does not enjoy free tacos?
