The Vancouver Is Awesome Grand Prix (VIAGP) returns for its second year – June 15th at Jonathan Rogers Park in Mount Pleasant.

This year’s event will serve as the Provincial Criterium cycling Championship for 2019,  featuring the best riders in the province competing for Provincial cycling glory. This year, the VIAGP will expand the event’s race schedule so Vancouver’s fixed-gear riders can get in on the action.

This year’s event will feature a 30 minute fixed-gear race happening at 4:40pm. The course is 800m in length and will be spectator friendly on all sides. You can register for the race HERE.

Spectators will be able grab a cold one and watch the action from the Growler Beer Garden (featuring Postmark Beer, Central City and Faculty Brewing) and mao-down on a deelish plate of food from one of the on-site food vendors. There will also be a family-friendly area for kids, so be sure to bring the whole fam down!
