Carnaval del Sol returns to Vancouver with an incredible array of music, dance, visual art, sports, and exceptional culinary delights. Consider this your summer vacation, without the flight.

Now in its 11th year, Carnaval del Sol celebrates the diversity and dynamism of Latin American culture. The 2019 edition of this family-friendly event boasts more than 450 artists, musicians and performers, who have come from around the world to entertain the masses at the Carnaval’s main stage and plazas.

Expect fashion, fun and most important of all, flavour!

Carnaval del Sol’s Food Plaza will feature over 35 food vendors serving up authentic dishes from across Latin America. There will also be a cooking demo show at the Experience Plaza and a relaxing outdoor beer garden courtesy of Driftwood Beer.

• Access to the Jose Cuervo Lounge: located with a premium view of the Main Stage.

• Discounts on select vendors, including 15% off at the CSOL merchandise tent.

• Festival souvenirs: assorted Carnaval del Sol branded materials.

• Food tasting during the cooking shows at the Experience Plaza.

In the days leading up to Carnaval del Sol, Latin American Week offers an exciting variety of events including: Similitude Art Exhibit, Fiesta Blanca Cruise, Canada Day Parade, Latin Film Night, Travelling Back to Afro-Latin American Roots, Flamenco, Tango & Wine and the Jose Cuervo Super Pass Lounge; a 100-person lounge for SuperPass holders, VIP's and artists to watch the festival with the best view of the main stage.
