Richmond is getting their very own sunflower festival this summer

Rows of sunshine flowers will welcome the public at Richmond’s first Sunflower Festival this August.

Visitors can enjoy over 20 different types of sunflowers and dahlias spread throughout eight acres of land at Richmond Country Farms from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Cool drinks and ice cream will be sold on-site by vendors, with food trucks making their appearances only on the weekend.

Other highlights at the festival include a beer and wine garden, yard games, performances and many photo opportunities.

Fresh cut flowers will also be available for purchase.

When: Aug. 3 to Sept. 15, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Richmond Country Farms – 12900 Steveston Highway, Richmond
Cost: Tickets are required for admission, prices TBD
