Surrey RCMP are investigating after dashcam footage surfaced of what appears to be two luxury sport cars racing down Highway 10 on July 28.
While it's difficult to determine either driver's intention, the two vehicles appear to accelerate rapidly after the traffic lights. Following this, the bright red vehicle pivots and crashes directly into the black one. As a result of the impact, the black car spins wildly in multiple circles in front of the red car.
The video was shared on the Reddit Surrey Community and has a number of comments. Although a number of commenters found the footage hilarious, others seemed concerned that the matter wouldn't be seen by law enforcement.
The footage was subsequently shared to the Surrey RCMP's Twitter page, and an investigation is currently underway.
