There are good deals, and then there are deals that seem suspiciously amazing.

Right now, WestJet’s discount carrier, Swoop, is offering a smorgasbord of deals that seem too good to be true. However, even the ones that cost less than a pair of jeans will fly you to destination.

For example, this one-way flight below departs Abbotsford on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 9:15 p.m. and flies directly to Edmonton. The total, including all taxes and fees, comes to $18.99 CAD. What's more, a return flight, depending on the dates, comes to under $100 CAD including all taxes and fees.

With that being said, if you wait to book your flight the price will increase. Flight prices are based on availability, and therefore the price will go up as the lowest booking classes are bought up.

Fly with Swoop

These incredible prices are part of Swoop's “$99 or less sale.” There are 40,000 one-way sale fares including all taxes and fees. What’s more, these flights are direct, and therefore you won’t lose any vacation time in stopovers.

The sale runs until Aug. 19 or until sold out, and is valid on travel between Sept. 9 to Dec. 11, 2019 (blackout dates apply).

There are also a number of other destinations included in the sale, including Puerto Vallarta, Las Vegas, Mazatlan, Winnipeg and more.

Note: While the low-cost carrier is an extremely affordable alternative, it is worthwhile to note that there are a number of additional costs. For one, luggage will cost extra, as will selecting your own seat or even speaking to an operator. As such, it is worthwhile to factor in what you need to bring, or if you want to sit in a particular spot.
