On Friday, Aug. 23, video surfaced of a woman shouting profanities and racial slurs at another woman during an altercation in a Richmond parking lot. Now, social-media users are calling out the woman, Carla Waldman, who made the remarks.

In the video, the victim says that the other woman has crossed the parking line. Before she says that, however, Waldman, who is Caucasian, says, “We don’t want you here because you can’t drive.”

Waldman also tells the woman to, “Go back to China,” and uses a racial slur.

The video has since gone viral and the RCMP are actively investigating the video and speaking with the victim. The victim reports that her daughter, who was present at the time of the incident, is having trouble sleeping.

What's more, thousands of people are commenting on old posts on both of Waldman's Facebook accounts. In fact, one of the posts on her Facebook page with a profile picture has a whopping 12,000 comments.

Not far below, in another post that has over 8,000 comments, Waldman shares a GoFundMe campaign protesting a neo-nazi, white supremacist rally that was scheduled to take place in Peterborough, Ontario. Waldman comments on the post, stating, "I know there is freedom of speech, but not in this case. Never and I mean never let this happen."

Of course, some people have commented that it seems paradoxical that she would post such a campaign after the things she said in the viral video.

Here are a few selections from the comment section:

"I would be embarrassed to be related to you after seeing this - I hope your family and friends check you. This is disgusting behavior. Did nobody teach you the value of character?? So shameful," writes Maddi Renee.

"She's a disgusting pathetic scum," comments Eden Tropp.

"She obviously is living a lie!!! Her true colours are viral now and no hiding her real thoughts," asserts Marcia Tuplin.

"You're an embarrassment to this country," remarks Alycia Sawatzky.

"You were despicable. It must hurt to be that full of hate," said Kathryn Homan Smith.

With this in mind, Surrey RCMP ask the public to refrain from commenting on Waldman's posts during the investigation.
