While Halloween night is well over two weeks away, Vancouver gets in the spooky spirit early.

This weekend, the sixth annual Halloween Parade & Expo will bring ghosts, goblins and family fun to downtown Vancouver. However, it will also bring a number of road closures, too.

On Sunday, Oct. 13, the parade will start at 11 a.m., but the road closures will be in effect at 8:30 a.m and will likely run until 1 p.m.

Locals should prepare prepare for some delays heading downtown or find an alternative route. The Granville Bridge will be partially closed from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., so drivers should use the Cambie or Burrard bridges instead.
