Mangia, mangia! Thursday, October 17 is National Pasta Day, and it’s the perfect day to satisfy your craving for some delicious noods at a wicked good price.
Four restaurants in the Kitchen Table restaurant portfolio – Pourhouse, Ask For Luigi, and Ristorante Di Beppe and North Vancouver’s newly opened Farina a Legna – will each be offering an exclusive one-day-only half-price pasta special that will double as a fundraiser.
All four restaurants will be serving up the traditional Northern Italian dish of Spaghetti Aglio e Olio (spaghetti with garlic and oil), with the im-pasta-bly good price of $9 a plate.
Proceeds from the sale of each dish will be donated to Dan’s Legacy, a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic counselling and life-skills programs to youth battling mental-health and addiction issues resulting from childhood trauma.
Go slurp up some garlicky noodles for a worthy cause, and twirl some spaghetti in honour of National Pasta Day.
