Tickets for one of the Kettle Valley Steam Railway’s most anticipated events of the year have just gone on sale.
The Grand Sommelier Express, in partnership with Summerland’s Bottleneck Drive, provides attendees the chance to ride a historic steam train while experiencing an on-board wine tasting.
“Guests will enjoy a stop at the train trestle for pictures and taste local foods paired with Summerland craft beverages served by their makers,” according to the event announcement.
The train then returns to the Kettle Valley Railway station for a reception catered by Brodo Kitchen paired with local Summerland wine, cider, beer, and spirits. Guests will then mingle with local winemakers and craft beverage creators with live music.
Tickets typically sell out many weeks in advance, so now's the time to plan your summertime fun in Summerland. No minors allowed at this event.
