Lower Mainland bus drivers will be holding a press conference Wednesday morning to talk about the next stage of job action, which could involve a strike.

Unifor has announced it is taking next steps because no new offers have come from the employer, Coast Mountain Bus Co.

The announcement will take place at Unifor offices in New Westminster and will involve picket line preparation activities.

To date, an overtime ban has had the most noticeable effect on transit, with cancellations of some SeaBus sailings and some bus routes in the region, mostly on Monday.
