A second body has been recovered after a canoe overturned on a lake in the Alberta Rockies.

RCMP say they were called on Saturday evening about a capsized canoe on Barrier Lake.

The lake is about an hour's drive west of Calgary, in Kananaskis Country.

Police say a 30-year-old Calgary man and his parents were in the canoe.

RCMP said earlier this week that the body of a 60-year-old man had been found while a 56-year-old woman was taken to hospital with hypothermia.

Police say the son's body was found on Wednesday by the RCMP's underwater recovery team.
