Victoria police are looking for a man who approached a father at a store in the 1600-block of Hillside Avenue and asked if his three-year-old daughter was for sale, then offered him money.
Police said the incident happened just after 3 p.m. on March 1. They said the father felt threatened and contacted police that evening.
The man is described as white, in his 70s and about six-foot-two with a heavy build. He is balding, has a short-clipped haircut and was possibly wearing glasses.
