A man who held up the Bank of Montreal at Terminal Park Mall in Nanaimo ran away peeling off the clothes he was wearing.

The robber discarded the Santa hat, leather jacket, gloves and sunglasses in the parking lot, said Const. Gary O’Brien.

“All of these items have been located and seized by attending officers,” said O’Brien.

The robber is believed to be a white man, 40 to 50 years of age. He is about five-foot, eight-inches tall with a medium build and has a brown and grey goatee. He was wearing a Crooks and Castles hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
