Victoria police arrested a man in possession of a sword outside the Westside Village Save-On-Foods just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Police had responded to a verbal disagreement at the Vic West location when the sword was found. The man did not pull the sword out and was compliant while being arrested
He was subsequently transported to the West Shore RCMP detachment because of a warrant in their jurisdiction.
