Richmond-based Organika Health Products Inc. has been listed on the Financial Times 2021 list of fastest-growing companies in North America.

Richmond-based Organika Health Products Inc. has been listed on the Financial Times 2021 list of fastest-growing companies in North America.

In collaboration with Statista, a research company, the Financial Times list ranks the top 500 private and public companies by revenue growth between 2016 and 2019.

Organika Health, a Canadian-owned business that makes vitamins, supplements and functional food products, is also listed as one of the top 100 Canadian companies.

Krista Cline, community lead of Organika Health, told the Richmond News this was the first time the company has made the list.

Profit growth, she added, were driven by different factors, including collaborating with Canadian retailers to make health products more accessible, being the first Canadian health product company to bring collagen powder into a healthy snack and expanding into international markets.

However, even more important are the company’s core values, said Cline.

"We know what our values are and what our mission is, and we are here to help the community stay healthy," said Cline, adding that they also shared the same messages with their retailers and consumers.

Organika recently donated $100,000 worth of products to Richmond-based Mama's for Mama's, a charity supporting mothers and caregivers in crisis.

Cline said the mission of Mama's for Mama's aligns well with Organika since the company is a second-generation family business.
