Since Kickstarter recently opened up to Canadian-based projects we've been cooking up some V.I.A.-born projects over here... and in the meantime we're shining some light on other ones we think you should consider putting some money into.
Neurio: Home Intelligence is an incredible system designed by Vancouver's own by Energy Aware Technology, and it's the most awesome techy thing I've yet seen on Kickstarter here in the city. If the same sound familiar, this is the same company that created the technology that's being used in the former Olympic Village where I live. HERE is a piece I wrote about their Powertab which is set into the wall of each unit in this neighbourhood. This new Neurio product appears to be taking it a bit further and instead of just allowing you to SEE your consumption, you'll be able to program it to help you save energy. As in, save MONEY!
