THE LOWERCASE READING ROOM

The Lowercase Reading Room is basically a tiny little room hidden inside The Regional Assembly of Text store on Main street containing a million (almost literally) zines and booklets and hand made things that creative folks have created.

If you're ever at Main and you should pop your head in for a visit.

I poached these images from their web site, you should just go there in person and see what's going on, it's well worth it...

Here's the official word, also taken from their site:

Previously a storage closet, currently a reading room, the lowercase is home to hundreds of zines and self published books. It features the former collections of the (over)view gallery and cyclops library, with a cozy little sitting area, all in a space measuring less than 9 by 3 feet.

Open: Monday-Saturday 11-6

Sunday 12-5

If you happen to make books, they are always welcome on the shelves of the lowercase reading room.
