More Richmond schools have been flagged for coronavirus exposures.

More Richmond schools have been flagged for COVID-19 exposures by Vancouver Coastal Health.

The schools have been listed on the health authority’s school exposures webpage.

There were exposures on May 4 to 5 at MacNeill secondary and on May 5 to 7 at Currie elementary.

There were also exposures at McKay elementary on April 26 to 28 and McNair secondary on April 30 and May 3, according to VCH.

Meanwhile, there was an exposure at a Richmond private school, Cornerstone Christian Academy, on May 6.

A school exposure occurs when someone with COVID-19 was in the school during their infectious period, according to VCH. However, this doesn’t mean there was transmission of the virus in the school.

Other recent exposures at Richmond schools include Maple Lane elementary (April 28 to 29); Diefenbaker elementary (April 22 to 23 and April 26 to 30); McKinney elementary school (April 26 to 27); William Cook elementary school (April 19 to 22 and April 28 to 30); Woodward elementary (April 22 to 23 and April 26 to 28); Steveston-London secondary (April 20 to 23 and April 26); and Blair elementary (April 26).
