Do you remember? Here's what one year of COVID-19 looked like in Vancouver (PHOTOS)

Empty city streets, Dr. Bonnie on the daily, and even that wild BC Ferries mask policy sign were all things we saw in the past 365 days of life in a pandemic in Vancouver.

On March 11, 2020 the World Health Organization declared the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak a global pandemic.

In just a few short days, life, as we knew it in Vancouver, came virtually to a stand-still, as workplaces ordered employees to stay home, schools did not re-open following March Break, and social gatherings and events were cancelled.

Vancouverites were staying home, the streets were empty, businesses boarded up, and the uncertainty hung in the air. As we settled into pandemic life, certain things became commonplace, like grocery delivery, wearing masks, physical distancing, and seeing Dr. Bonnie Henry, Health Minister Adrian Dix, and ASL interpreter Nigel Howard on our screens daily.

As we mark one year of living through the COVID-19 pandemic in Vancouver, we're taking a look back at the year that was in photos.
