Multiple Metro Vancouver McDonald's locations report employee COVID-19 infections

Restaurants are across the region, including in Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, and Surrey

An employee at the McDonald's at 537 West Broadway at Cambie in Vancouver has been infected with coronavirus (COVID-19)

Several more employees at McDonald's locations in Metro Vancouver have recently been confirmed as having the coronavirus (COVID-19).

McDonald's Canada posts cases to its online tracker and have recently indicated the following affected restaurants in the region:

  • 2760 Sweden Way, Richmond: Last day the restaurant employee worked was April 19
  • 11057 – 4700 Kingsway, Burnaby: Last day the restaurant employee worked was April 19
  • 537 W Broadway, Vancouver: Last day the restaurant employee worked was April 22
  • 26454 56 Ave, Langley: Last day the restaurant employee worked was April 21
  • 32983 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford: Last day the restaurant employee worked was April 21
  • 8586 120th St, Surrey: Last day the restaurant employee worked was April 23

Fraser Health and Vancouver Coastal Health do not have any McDonald's locations on either of their lists of COVID-19 workplace closures.

Currently, McDonald's Canada lists 16 restaurant employee cases in British Columbia.
