A Polish startup called Omni Calculator has just released a Vaccine Queue Calculator for Canada online.

Jasmine Mah, who is a recent MSc graduate from Ontario, and her friend Steven Wooding, partnered with the company to bring the tool to life.

In an email, Mah tells Vancouver Is Awesome that she was inspired to create it because a question "still lingers in millions of minds like mine - How far in the queue am I?"

She decided to make that guesswork a little easier.

The tool is based on the national guidelines priority list that the Canadian government released, and is fairly simple to use.

After answering questions in a few dropdown menus, the calculator spits out an estimated date that they think you might be able to get one of the vaccines that the government is rolling out.

It by no means provides a guaranteed vaccination date, but will give you a rough idea of when you might expect to be vaccinated for COVID-19 coronavirus in Canada.
