Seven years ago Jamie Beuthin and Patrick Levesque decided to enter a market very few men had crossed into: skin care and grooming for men.

In an industry with products, advertisements and attention largely focused on women, Beuthin and Levesque created MASC, a safe haven for men to attend to their skin care and grooming needs. Going beyond the tiny section at your local drug store, Beuthin and Levesque constructed a business catered to men.

MASC is a hidden treasure on Davie Street, with products from all around the world. Their unique brands and items range from cleansers to shampoos and toothpastes, all in an effort to help men look and feel confident and at their best.

I enjoy seeing guys see results, says Beuthin. The two have studied their products and are able to find a remedy to problems in a matter of minutes. In that sense, they come to know their customers well and create an environment where people can talk about skincare issues. With how-to and informational videos, an extensive product list and discussion board, their website is also a valuable tool in addressing needs and concerns for men.

Immaculately organized, all the products are placed in a meticulous manner with not an end sticking out or a spot to clean. The store is soothing upon entrance and Beuthins and Levesques customer service may just be the key to their success with customers.
