One of Germanys favourite street foods currywurst was born.
Two friends have brought currywurst to Vancouver. Dane Brown and Clinton McDougall recently opened Bestie in Chinatown. This being Vancouver, of course they offer a veggie wurst in addition to their classic pork Thuringer, southern BBQ turkey and smokey bison sausages. The sausage is served with either double-fried French fries or homemade dry brine sauerkraut.

They chose the name Bestie because its slang for best friend in Britain and means beast in German.
