Lime and Moon Pie Company, the popular family-run bakery on Bowen Island, is expanding to the “mainland” with a new storefront set to open early October in Yaletown at 1066 Mainland. Chef David Hawksworth has signed a deal with Air Canada to create his own brand of meals for those flying international business class or dining Air Canada’s Maple Leaf Lounge at various airports. The nine new dishes will be available on flights starting in October.

Max Borrowman, bartender at Torafuku, has won one of two winning spots in the regional final of the Global Beefeater MIXLDN Bartender Competition with his All England Club, a “strawberries and cream” gin-based Negroni.
